After the dynamic field of the type *Customer* was configured it needs to be added to the backend configuration of either Customers :ref:`customer_back_ends` or Customer Users :ref:`customer_user_back_ends`, whichever applies to your use case. If you are using an OTRS SaaS setup this is done by the Customer Solutions team. In such a case please raise a request regarding this matter via portal.otrs.com.
