Without this configuration, the system will fall back to the default ``ArticleStorageDB`` after the update and the back end will not find the attachments and the HTML contents anymore. Attachments and the HTML contents may not be available in tickets and articles.

The selected article storage can be configured in ``Kernel/Config.pm`` by inserting one of the following options. Please note that ``ArticleStorageDB`` is the default article storage, so you do not need additional configuration to use it.

Suggestion removed during cleanup
The index structures of Elasticsearch 8 is not compatible with Elasticsearch 9. Thus the `index structures must either be updated`_ before the upgrade to version 9, or all existing indexes have to be removed before the upgrade and recreated afterwards. The Elasticsearch 9 service will refuse to start with an existing old index structure.
As estruturas de índice do Elasticsearch 8 não são compatíveis com o Elasticsearch 9. Assim, as `estruturas de índice devem ser atualizadas`_ antes da atualização para a versão 9, ou todos os índices existentes devem ser removidos antes da atualização e recriados posteriormente.
